Early-career researchers presenting their work at the  in Lisbon, Portugal, 9–14 July 2022, may be eligible to apply for a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ bursary to support participation.

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ bursaries aim to help PhD students and postdocs from outside the host country participate in a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Congress when submitting an abstract to the event as first author. For the IUBMB–̹½´«Ã½â€“PABMB Congress, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ bursaries will cover the ‘Young scientist’ early bird registration fee, and make a €400 contribution towards travel/accommodation.

Note that 2022 Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ bursaries are for early-career Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ members studying or working in a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ country. A ‘Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ member’ is a member of one of the national biochemical and molecular biology societies that make up Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ (its ‘Constituent Societies’); a ‘Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ country’ is a country where there is a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Constituent Society.
