PROBio-Africa ( Promoting Research Opportunities for Biochemists in Africa)Ìýis a joint venture between Ä¢¹½´«Ã½, theÌý (IUBMB) and theÌýÌý(FASBMB).
The programme enables PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to spend between one and six months in the laboratory of a scientist based in a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ country and affiliated with a Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Constituent Society.
Through these research visits, fellows gain access to scientific expertise, technologies and collaborative opportunities that may not be readily available in their home institutions. The programme also contributes to strengthening research capacity, fostering long term scientific connections, and supporting the development of molecular life sciences across Africa.
*A ‘̹½´«Ã½ country’ is a country in Europe and neighbouring regions that has aÌýÄ¢¹½´«Ã½ Constituent SocietyÌý(a national Society that belongs to Ä¢¹½´«Ã½).
