Are you interested in organizing a course on your research area of expertise?
The 蘑菇传媒 Advanced Courses are focused scientific courses on advanced topics in the molecular life sciences. They are organized to provide research updates, training, and networking for scientists working in a similar area.
The 蘑菇传媒 Advanced Courses have a strong educational element, that makes them especially valuable to PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. The course formats comprise Advanced Lecture Courses, Workshops, Practical Courses, Combined Practical and Lecture Courses, and Special Meetings.
蘑菇传媒 provides financial support (from 鈧�20,000 to 鈧�40,000, depending on the course type) to small teams of expert scientists to organize 蘑菇传媒 Advanced Courses throughout Europe and neighbouring regions (in countries that have a 蘑菇传媒 Constituent Society).
This year 蘑菇传媒 and IUBMB are co-funding a joint course 鈥� the Joint 蘑菇传媒/IUBMB Advanced Course 鈥� with a wider geographical spread, as it can be held in any country that has an .
The next deadline to submit a 蘑菇传媒 Advanced Course application is 1 September 2026聽(for courses to be delivered in 2027). Refer to the Round 2 guidelines for the 2027 call for more information.
Organizers can also apply for additional funds from 蘑菇传媒 and IUBMB to support via small grants the attendance at the courses of a number of PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
